About the PROJECT
Small Footprint + Big Entertaining + Durable Family Living.
This 850-square-foot Gull Lake cottage was refreshed to maximize every inch while maintaining an open, spacious feel. Designed for a busy blended family that loves to entertain, the goal was simple: create as much comfortable seating as possible without overwhelming the small footprint.
Performance fabrics, flexible seating, and a fresh palette of soft blues, crisp whites, and navy bring a polished yet relaxed coastal feel. Woven textures and natural materials add warmth while keeping everything durable enough for everyday lake life.
The living space extends outdoors, where deep seating and dining transform the porch into another place to gather, entertain, and enjoy the lake. The result is a cottage that lives far larger than its 850 square feet—casual, comfortable, and made for a full house.
