Furniture Orders, Returns & Delivery Policy
At St. Augustine Design, we help you select furniture thoughtfully and support you through ordering and delivery. Please review the following policies before approving your order.
Custom Orders & Final Sale
All custom and special-order furniture is final sale. Once you approve your order and authorize placement with the manufacturer, cancellations, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, style preference, or fit are not accepted, except as required by applicable law.
Please review all dimensions, fabrics, finishes, quantities, and other specifications before approving your order. Requested changes are subject to manufacturer approval and are confirmed only when accepted by St. Augustine Design in writing.
Final-sale terms do not remove your rights concerning defective, damaged, incorrect, or undelivered merchandise.
Payments & Order Placement
Payment requirements and any remaining balance are outlined in your proposal or invoice. Manufacturer orders are placed after the required payment and approval of final selections are received. Payments collected before delivery may be used to purchase your approved furniture from the manufacturer.
Lead Times & Delivery
Estimated shipment and delivery windows are provided for each order based on manufacturer and carrier information. Production schedules, material availability, freight, and white-glove delivery scheduling may affect these estimates.
We will communicate material delays and provide updated timing as information becomes available. Where applicable law requires consent to a shipping delay or the option to cancel and receive a refund, those rights will be honored.
Tracking information or carrier confirmation will be shared when available. Delivery services and charges are specified in your proposal or invoice. Custom order furniture can take up to 12 weeks based on the manufacturer production times.
Measurements & Access
Please confirm furniture dimensions and delivery access before approving your order, including doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, and the intended placement. We are happy to help review these details. Additional delivery services or charges will be disclosed for approval before they are incurred.
Manufacturing Defects & Delivery Damage
If an item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will help you report the issue and coordinate with the manufacturer or delivery provider on an appropriate resolution.
Please inspect your furniture upon delivery, note visible damage on the delivery receipt, and contact us promptly with photographs and a description. Report concealed damage or defects promptly after discovering them, and retain packaging when practical until the claim is reviewed.
Manufacturer warranty coverage varies by product. Depending on the issue and applicable coverage, a resolution may include repair, replacement parts, replacement, or another appropriate remedy. Manufacturer warranty information is available upon request. This policy does not limit remedies required by applicable law.
